Accounts
The Accounts landing page will display general account information
This page will provide account balances, reminders, and new products and offers.
Select the profile and settings icon then “Profile” to continue.
PNC Mobile Accept Activation
Begin activation of PNC Mobile Accept
In the Business Checking Account view, customers will see the checking account balance and a list of actions that eligible customers can complete. Customers who have applied and been approved for PNC Mobile Accept will see an activate button upon logging into PNC Mobile. PNC Mobile Accept will be listed for eligible accounts below account balance.
Select “ACTIVATE" to continue.
Terms of Use
Review and agree to the Terms of Use
The terms of use will explain the details about using the product. After reviewing, you will have to check the box to agree to the terms of use before continuing.
Select “ACCEPT” to continue.
PNC Mobile Accept Activation Complete
Activation is complete and you can begin using PNC Mobile Accept!
Now that you have electronically accepted terms of use, you can begin accepting payments directly through the PNC Mobile App and pair the card reader that was mailed to you.
Select “DONE” to finish activation.

The Accounts page will update and display quick actions for accounts that have activated PNC Mobile Accept
PNC Business Checking accounts that are associated with PNC Mobile Accept will display quick actions such as Accept Payments and visit the Payment Center. You can now accept payments.

On the Payment Center, you can view recent transactions, accept payments, adjust settings, and more
From the Payment Center screen, you can see a quick view of transactions, expand to see more, see if card readers are paired and adjust settings.
Select the gear icon to see how to include and adjust taxes to your transactions.

In Mobile Accept Settings, you can manage card readers, include or adjust taxes, tips and more.

Select “Manage Taxes” to continue.
Manage Taxes
In Manage Taxes, you can view and edit your stored tax rates.
In Manage Taxes, you can view and edit your stored tax rates and create multiple tax rates. Only one preset tax amount can be applied in a single transaction. If multiple taxes apply to a single transaction, then a combined tax rate should be created.
Important: You are responsible for the accuracy of all data entered into PNC Mobile Accept. If you choose to create a tax rate and apply it to your transactions, it will apply to the entire transaction.
Select “CREATE TAX” to continue.
Create Tax
In Create Tax, you can create a tax rate to store and apply to your transactions when accepting credit card payments using Mobile Accept.
In Create Tax, you can create a Tax Label to name the tax you are creating. You can then assign the Tax Rate for that specific tax and then choose to set this tax as a default tax setting for all customer transactions.
If you do not set a tax as the default tax setting you must apply the additional tax rate as part of your transaction.
Select “SAVE” to continue.
Manage Taxes
In Manage Taxes, you can view and modify your stored tax rates.
In Manage Taxes, you can view and edit the tax rates you previously entered and saved. You can do this by tapping the tax you would like to modify. You can also create multiple tax rates.
Important: To apply multiple taxes to a single transaction, create a combined tax that adds those individual taxes together.
Select “State Tax” to continue.
Modify Tax
In Modify Tax, you can modify the tax rate you previously entered and saved.
In Modify Tax, you can modify a tax rate to store and apply when accepting payments and you can set a default tax rate. Setting a tax rate as default will allow this tax rate to be applied to all of your transactions.
Select “SAVE” to continue.
Manage Taxes
In Manage Taxes, you can view and edit stored tax rates.
In Manage Taxes, you can view and edit stored tax rates and you can create multiple tax rates that can be applied to individual transactions when accepting payments. Currently only three taxes can be added. Once you have created and saved three tax rates the Create Tax button will not be available.
Select “X” to return to the Accounts Page.

Manage Tips
In Manage Tips you can enable tips for customer transactions.
Individual tips can be applied while accepting payments.
Select “Enable Tips” to view default tip options and modify tips.

In Manage Tips, you can enable, view, or edit default tip amounts.
Once tips are enabled, you can view and edit the default tip percentages, 15%, 18%, and 20%. These tips will appear as tip options for your customers to select to apply and include. Once a tip is selected to be applied it will be calculated on the entire sale amount and included as part of your transaction.
Select “Tip Percentage” to continue.
Modify Tip
In Modify Tip, you can view and edit tips.
In Modify Tip, you can view and edit the default tip percentages.
If this was done in error, you can select Cancel.

- PNC Mobile Accept is a method of accepting credit card payments and is available through PNC Mobile Banking. Payment processing services through PNC Mobile Accept are provided by Tempus Technologies, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of PNC Bank, N.A.) and subject to application, credit review of the business and its owners, and approval. Use of PNC Mobile Accept requires (1) an eligible and active business checking account and agreement with PNC Bank, N.A. (2) an approved and active payment processing account and agreement with Tempus Technologies, Inc., and (3) the PNC mobile banking application be downloaded and installed on a supported device. Certain other restrictions may apply.
- PNC Bank does not charge a fee for Mobile Banking, but upfront charges and fees apply to the payment processing services through PNC Mobile Accept. In addition, third party message and data rates may apply to your use of or access to Mobile Banking, including PNC Mobile Accept, such as fees your wireless carrier may charge you for data usage or SMS/text messaging services. Check with your wireless carrier for details regarding your specific wireless plan and any data usage or text messaging charges that may apply. PNC Mobile Accept and payment processing services are not deposit products and are not guaranteed or insured by the FDIC or any other governmental agency.
- Tax and tip functionalities are features available through PNC Mobile Accept. You are responsible for the accuracy and validity of all data entered into these features and proper application to your transactions. Features you elect to apply to any transaction will apply to the entire transaction. Guidance related to using or availability of these features is not legal or tax advice. - Except as is otherwise set forth in your agreement for payment processing with Tempus Technologies, Inc., your funds for card transactions will ordinarily be transferred to your PNC business checking account within three business days from the time your batch (an electronic file containing your card transactions) is received. If a batch is received after the cut-off time, or on a day that is not a business day, those transactions will generally be processed on the next business day. Business day means Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.
