Betty Hamilton is a Managing Director and leads PNC Healthcare’s National Strategy Group. The National Strategy Group was formed to align the traditional commercial and healthcare investment banking platforms at PNC to provide a “one-stop-shop” for addressing clients’ strategic financing needs.
Before joining PNC in 2016, Hamilton was Senior Vice President and Practice Manager of Financial Advisory at Kaufman Hall. She served as trusted advisor to a variety of not-for-profit healthcare organizations in evaluating capital structures.
She has also advised clients on municipal derivatives transactions. Ms. Hamilton supported the M&A practice in evaluating capital structure implications and market access for a number of business combinations ranging from joint ventures to system-to-system mergers and for both buy- and sell-side hospitals and health systems.
Ms. Hamilton holds a master’s degree in business administration with honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in analytic finance and economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance with high distinction from The Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business. She is also a Schreyer Scholar from The Pennsylvania State University.
