Stephanie Novosel
Head of Asset Management Group
Stephanie Novosel is head of Asset Management Group for The PNC Financial Services Group. In this role, she is responsible for leading PNC’s wealth management and private banking services for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net worth individuals and families, as well as custom investment and advisory solutions for institutional clients.
Prior to being named to her current role in August 2024, Novosel was head of Commercial Banking where she oversaw one of the largest Corporate & Institutional client segments, serving clients across the PNC’s footprint, and leading 750+ relationship management, credit products, equipment finance and other professionals who serve companies that range from $5-50MM in sales size.
Since joining PNC in 2000, she has had a wide range of responsibilities, including chief operating officer for Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) for six years. In addition to working with all of the segments and products that comprise C&IB on their programs and client processes, she led the integration of several large bank acquisitions into C&IB, along with many functions including client analytics, sales development and support and strategic decision support. Novosel was also deputy group head of International Banking and has led several product areas including commercial deposits and investments. She began her career working in audit, tax, and management consulting practices.
Novosel is currently on the board of trustees for Chatham University and chairs the Audit & Risk Committee. She co-chaired 2023’s United Way campaign at PNC, and recent past service includes the advisory board of the Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship, along with many other community volunteer and not-for-profit boards previously. Since 2019, for 4 years, she was recognized by American Banker as one of the Most Powerful Women in Banking’s “Women to Watch” and in 2023 she was named to their “Most Powerful Women in Banking” list.
Novosel has a B.A. in International Business from Chatham University. She is currently studying for her Masters certification in Marketing Management at Colorado State University and is a fellow in the Corporate Leadership Center’s CEO Perspectives 2024 program.
