Have Your Deposit Made For You

With Direct Deposit, have your paycheck or any regularly scheduled payment deposited electronically into your checking, savings or money market account. Eligible deposits include salary, retirement benefits, interest payments, pension payments, Social Security, SSI and government payments.

Why Choose Direct Deposit?

  • It's Safer - Direct deposit eliminates the risk of stolen checks, forgeries and helps to protect you from identity theft.
  • It's Easier  - Payments are conveniently deposited directly into your bank account. No need to go to the bank to make your deposit.
  • It's Reliable - Funds are automatically deposited on your scheduled paydates and your funds are immediately available for withdraw (your use) on that same day.

Verification of Deposit

Your employer or anyone making a deposit on your behalf will issue a paystub or payment advice documenting any withholdings and other deductions. PNC Bank will note the deposit on your bank statement, at the ATM and, if you've signed up, you'll get an e-mail  from PNC Alerts.

Setting Up Direct Deposit

A written authorization is required to establish a direct deposit. The quickest way to sign up for direct deposit is to contact your employer, government agency or other agency issuing you a check. They will provide the proper forms and instructions.

You may also be able to complete our PNC Direct Deposit enrollment form and submit it to your employer or other non-governmental agency along with a voided check from your PNC account. Forms are available online or at any PNC Bank branch.
