Kyle Patino currently manages our National Healthcare, Public Finance & Non-Profit Derivative Products Group and has worked in the tax-exempt finance industry for 20 years, both as a derivative marketer and a quantitative banker. As a senior leader of PNC Capital Markets, he delivers real time market information, retail and institutional investor trends, cash market structuring considerations, and plays an integral role in the strategic direction of PNC Capital Markets. Mr. Patino takes an active role with client strategy and successful execution of client objectives in the capital, bank, and derivative markets. He collaborates with his team, sales and trading, investment bankers, relationship managers, credit officers, loan syndications, and internal/external counsel to deliver solution oriented interest rate management strategies, capital structure considerations, and debt financing.

Mr. Patino provides quantitative analysis in derivative structuring, asset/liability hedging, and document negotiation. He serves as a frequent speaker on topics related to risk management, SOFR, LIBOR & SIFMA trends, tax reform, economic outlook, and hedging strategies.

Prior to joining PNC in 2003, Mr. Patino worked for George K. Baum & Co. Mr. Patino holds an M.S. in Finance from Temple University – Fox School of Business and an Advanced Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Minor in Political Science from Occidental College.  Mr. Patino hold the designation of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.

 

Betty Hamilton

Managing Director

National Strategy Group, PNC Healthcare

Betty Hamilton is a Managing Director and leads PNC Healthcare’s National Strategy Group.  The National Strategy Group was formed to align the traditional commercial and healthcare investment banking platforms at PNC to provide a “one-stop-shop” for addressing clients’ strategic financing needs.

Before joining PNC in 2016, Hamilton was Senior Vice President and Practice Manager of Financial Advisory at Kaufman Hall. She served as trusted advisor to a variety of not-for-profit healthcare organizations in evaluating capital structures.

She has also advised clients on municipal derivatives transactions. Hamilton supported the M&A practice in evaluating capital structure implications and market access for a number of business combinations ranging from joint ventures to system-to-system mergers and for both buy- and sell-side hospitals and health systems.

Hamilton holds a master’s degree in business administration with honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in analytic finance and economics and a bachelor of science degree in finance with high distinction from The Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business. She is also a Schreyer Scholar from The Pennsylvania State University.
